Lungo Blue Extras

This is NOT Better MC. This project only adds a small set of extra mods used on the public Lungo Blue Minecraft server. You must install the official base pack first.

Required base pack: Better MC [NEOFORGE] BMC5 by Luna Pixel Studios / SHXRKIE.

We do not rehost, reupload, or redistribute Better MC, its configs, quests, scripts, or assets. All credit for BMC5 goes to the original authors. Please support them by installing BMC5 only from its official CurseForge page.

What this pack is for

Lungo Blue runs Minecraft 1.21.1 · NeoForge · Better MC BMC5, plus a few extra client/server mods that are not part of the official BMC5 pack. This project exists so players can install those extras cleanly from CurseForge instead of hunting individual jars.

Players should expect:

• A normal Better MC 5 experience (exploration, new biomes, dungeons, dimensions, QoL, etc.)
• Additional magic, utility, travel, and comfort mods listed below
• A public multiplayer server with land claims, shops/warps, and a Discord community
• Optional VR support via Vivecraft

Requirements

• Minecraft 1.21.1
• Loader: NeoForge (as used by Better MC BMC5)
• Official Better MC [NEOFORGE] BMC5 instance already installed
• Enough RAM for a large modpack (typically 8GB+ allocated to Minecraft; more is better)

How to install

1. Install Better MC [NEOFORGE] BMC5 with the CurseForge App, Prism Launcher, or another launcher that supports CurseForge modpacks.
2. Install Lungo Blue Extras (this project) into the same instance, or download this pack and copy its mods contents into your BMC5 instance mods folder.
3. Do not remove BMC5 mods. These extras are meant to be added on top.
4. Launch the instance → Multiplayer → Direct Connect → mc.lungo.blue

Important: If a launcher creates a separate profile for this pack, merge/copy the extra mod jars into your BMC5 profile. Joining the server requires both BMC5 and these extras.

What players can expect on the server

• Public survival on Better MC 5 content
• Land claims via Open Parties and Claims (included in BMC5) so bases can be protected
• Shops, warps, and economy features for multiplayer trading and travel
• Extra gameplay from this pack: spellcasting, stargates, faster furnaces, inventory QoL, beach content, and more
• Community support on Discord for install help and events

Mods included in this extras pack

Exact versions are pinned in the pack files. High-level list of what is added on top of BMC5:

• Iron's Spellbooks (+ Iron's Lib) — magic, spells, and combat progression
• Stargate Journey — stargates and long-distance / dimensional travel
• Iron Furnaces — upgraded, faster furnaces
• Let's Do Beachparty — beach decoration and seasonal/fun content
• Do a Barrel Roll — improved elytra control / barrel rolls
• ClickVillagers — pick up and move villagers more easily
• Trade Cycling — reroll villager trades more conveniently
• Inventory Sorter — sort inventories and chests quickly
• Trash Slot and Trash Cans — easy item disposal
• Pylons — utility / chunk-loading style base tools
• Sit — sit on stairs, slabs, and similar blocks
• Vivecraft — optional VR support (flat players can keep it installed; it is supported on the server)
• Required libraries used by the above (e.g. SuperMartijn642 libs, Player Animator) when not already present

All of the above are existing CurseForge projects included by normal modpack dependency packaging. Full credit belongs to each mod’s respective authors.

Not included / separate download

A small server-specific mod (URL Paintings) may be required to match the live server exactly. Because it is custom to our server, it is hosted on our website rather than redistributed as someone else’s project:

If this pack is already enough to join at the time you download it, the website will say so. Always check the install page if you get a “missing mods” message.

FAQ

Is this a Better MC fork or reupload? No. Install official BMC5 from CurseForge, then add these extras only.

Can I use this offline / on my own server? Yes. The mods themselves are normal community mods. The pack is maintained for Lungo Blue compatibility, so versions are chosen to match our public server.

I crash or can’t connect

1. Confirm BMC5 is installed
2. Confirm every extras mod is present
3. Confirm Minecraft 1.21.1 + NeoForge
4. Ask on Discord with your latest.log

Do I need every performance/shader option from BMC5? Use whatever client performance setup BMC5 already provides. This extras pack does not replace BMC5’s performance stack.
