A cozy Vanilla+ adventure built for exploration, creativity, and playing together.

M.A.M. is a family-friendly NeoForge modpack that expands Minecraft without losing the feeling of Minecraft.

Explore a richer world, build detailed and cozy bases, improve your gear, farm, cook, discover new structures, and enjoy multiplayer with fewer frustrating or repetitive mechanics.

The pack was originally created for me and my two daughters, with one goal in mind:

🗺️ Explore a Richer World

Exploration is one of the main pillars of M.A.M.

The world contains more structures and places worth discovering, including improvements from Moog's structure mods and other exploration-focused additions.

Expect:

• More varied structures
• Improved villages
• Swamp villages
• Additional underwater content
• Better treasure hunting
• Larger and more rewarding ore deposits
• More reasons to leave your base and see what is over the next hill

The goal is not to completely replace Minecraft's world generation — it is to make travelling through it more interesting.

⚔️ Accessible Progression

M.A.M. expands Minecraft's progression while keeping it approachable.

Mods such as Silent Gear, Better Combat, Easy Magic, and various enchanting improvements provide more ways to customize and improve your equipment.

Small progression tweaks also help remove some of the more repetitive parts of late-game Minecraft.

You still need to explore, mine, craft, and earn your upgrades — there is simply less unnecessary grind along the way.

🏡 Build Something Cozy

Building is a major part of the pack.

Mods such as Rechiseled, Connected Glass, and several of Macaw's building mods provide a much larger collection of decorative options while still fitting naturally into Minecraft.

🌾 Farming, Cooking & Peaceful Gameplay

Not every adventure needs to involve fighting.

M.A.M. expands the peaceful side of Minecraft with additional farming, cooking, fishing, and animals.

Mods such as Corpse and PlayerRevive make mistakes less punishing when playing with friends or family.

A death can become a rescue mission instead of immediately turning into frustration over lost equipment.

Combined with Waystones, shared storage options, exploration, building, and accessible progression, the pack works especially well for small multiplayer groups where different players enjoy different parts of Minecraft.

One player can explore.

Someone else can farm, cook, mine, decorate, or work on equipment.

There is no single progression path everyone has to follow.

🌙 Comfort & Immersion

Small additions help make the world feel more comfortable and alive.

Comforts adds practical sleeping bags and hammocks for travelling, while other gameplay tweaks improve healing and everyday survival.

Shader support also allows the world to be given a visual upgrade for players who want a more atmospheric experience.

M.A.M. originally started as a modpack for playing Minecraft with my two daughters.

That has shaped the philosophy behind the entire pack.

The goal is not maximum difficulty, complicated automation, or endless progression trees.
