Description

A magic mod that attempts to pull in as many 1.12.2+ mods with adventure-like features.   Finally, throws in Cosmetic options so you can build your favorite Fantasy builds, and live the dream.

This modpack is designed to be used with OTG's enhanced biomes.

Currently the modpack is focused on adventuring for progression as well as closer-to-vanilla automation.   I've removed a lot of mods the simplify things too much, but kept ones that can help get rid of the grindy parts of minecraft while keeping the machinery and other fun.

A quest system may come, depending on time.

For Magic, that means:

  • Root 2 (Simple, w/ very good aesthetics and cool spell mechanics).  
  • Botania (Wonderful automation + color)
  • Electrobob's Wizardry
  • Astral Sorcery
  • Magical Psi
  • Waypoints

Adventure mods

  • Open Terrain Generator - Beautiful landscapes to explore
  • RogueLike Dungeons - Exciting things to do as you explore.  Also helps jump-start the early game.
  • Aether Legacy - A non-crashing version of Aether
  • Rustic - Provide food for the wandering adventure plus many of my favorite looking blocks and some interesting crops / food.
  • Twilight Forest - New dimension full of cool stuff

Decorative Mods

  • BiblioCraft -  How can you be a mage without a huge library?
  • Quark - All around great QoL improvements to minecraft.  This makes the ocean a bit more dangerous w/ guardians and adds some "deep" mobs.  Be careful getting those diamonds
  • Just a Few fish -  Fishing should be interesting.  Why not keep a fish-pet familiar?
