About

Description

This modpack exists to fulfill one simple purpose: The desire for exploration.

Explore the hundreds of new overworld structures, then when you're all done there continue on to the Betweenlands, the Atum, or the Erebus. Finally when the dimensions are cleared and the overworld has nothing left to offer, continue on into space with Advanced Rocketry, with literally infinite procedural planets to explore.

This modpack is what I would describe as medium-tech, low-magic. There is very little in the way of direct magic beyond simple enchantments, runes, and alchemy. Embers allows magitech, and Immersive Engineering combined with Advanced Rocketry is the core of the tech. The bulk of this modpack comes from the exploration, rather than min-maxing your technology or magic at a base. That said you can still have a decent base, using Nomadic Tents to keep a small amount of supplies on hand or simply scouting for ores to build harvesters on top of, you will be exploring no matter your playstyle.

As a general word of warning, Ice and Fire is in this modpack. Spawn rates have been heavily reduced, but things like dragons still exist and can still wreak havoc on your structures or whatever they may find.

I would recommend 6GB RAM for this pack, since worldgen tends to take up quite a bit more memory. Sadly I cannot get it down to 4GB for this pack.
