Who is this modpack for?

Marvelously Client-Side is a modpack which focuses on improving the game's performance, visuals, and QOL without affecting any server-side features. For this reason, Marvelously Client-Side is perfect for both playing on vanilla multiplayer servers as well as "vanilla" singleplayer:)

To achieve the above, the modpack compiles a range of client-side mods and a curated selection of a couple of the most popular and performant shaders (disabled by default). This modpack is also what I personally use whenever playing "vanilla" Minecraft or while playing on a vanilla server such as Hypixel, Mineplex, CubeCraft, or the KIG Network.

Speaking of servers… this modpack also includes several of the most popular minigame and PVP servers already added to the server list, including the ones mentioned above and more! As well as some custom default keybinds and mod configs designed to ensure the very best experience and utility while playing on any of the most popular vanilla servers. All these defaults can be changed though and your personal preferences and configs do not get overridden by modpack updates. ✨

So… is this modpack up-to-date?

As of July 2026, YES!=D

Compared to many other client-side modpacks which have been abandoned, I intend to keep mine up-to-date following the latest new mod updates for as long as I can and until stated otherwise. Likewise I also intend to update the modpack to the newest Minecraft version, although do keep in mind that I might wait for some time after a Minecraft version was released depending on how fast individual mods and the majority of servers update to it. Nevertheless, in some cases I might consider supporting two (or more) Minecraft releases at once depending on the circumstances. Moreover, I test this modpack and its configurations extensively as this is the modpack that I personally use on a regular basis primarily while playing on vanilla multiplayer servers.

Quality of Life

• Controlling - Adds a search bar to Controls settings.
• Debugify - Fixes various bugs from Minecraft's bug tracker.
• Stop Minimizing on Focus Loss - Prevents Minecraft fullscreen windows from minimizing when focus is lost (this matches the behavior of many other modern games such as Hytale, HOI4, or Cyberpunk 2077).
• Mouse Tweaks - Enhances inventory management by adding various functions to the mouse buttons.
• Better Tab Info - Improves tab(player list) and adds extra client-sided information, such as TPS and numerical ping. Also implements a few fixes to tab. Now fully customizable!
• Mod Menu - Adds a mod menu to view the list of mods you have installed.
• Sodium Extra - A Sodium addon that adds features that shouldn't be in Sodium.
• Chat Patches - A Minecraft-Fabric client-side mod that touches up a few aspects of Minecraft's mundane chat.

• Held Item Info - Shows information (like enchantments) about the held item under its name.
