MC Ascended
I set out with the goal of creating a modpack for my friends and I that had a little of everything, with some of my favorite mods from Tekkit Classic, FTB Infinity, and RLCraft included. Enjoy some of my favorite graphical mods alongside lots of tech, magic, and exploration based mods!
Tekkit Classic - ProjectE, BuildCraft, ProjectRed, and IC2
I did my best to balance ProjectE and its insanity around the other mods I chose to include by pushing the crafting of condensers/transmutation tablets/transmutation tables further into the endgame with Extreme Crafting. These changes are all easily undone by simply removing the script in the scripts folder, although I personally believe leaving ProjectE as is would make the game finishable too quickly. I also included BuildCraft, ProjectRed and IC2, three mods that shaped one of the first modpacks I ever played.
FTB Infinity - Draconic Evolution, Extreme Reactors, and Twilight Forest
I loved the feel of having lots of different tech mods with some added adventure and a healthy end game, so I tried to replicate that in my own pack. These mods weren't exactly done first by FTB Infinity, but they were a huge factor to my long play of that fantastic 1.7.10 pack.
RLCraft - Ice and Fire Dragons, and all the visual elements
A mod that I think define RL Craft and its insanity are also included and toned down a bit in this pack. There's no locational damage, so you won't have to worry about those crazy skeleton headshots, or any of the other major difficulty elements that RLCraft introduced. I loved the atmosphere RLCraft introduced with all of its visual enhancements, so I included those as well.
Lots, lots more!!
With 255+ more mods than what's listed above, an expanded end game, and a huge depth of things to do, there's surely something for everybody in what's designed to be a long play kind of pack.
HIGHLY recommend fully utilizing pre-generating your world both in single and multiplayer, and HIGHLY recommend downloading and using Optifine. I can't include Optifine in my pack here, but I see super substantial FPS boosts when using it on my own system.
Feel free to message me with any problems or questions on CurseForge. This is the first pack I've created! I hope you take the time to play it and (hopefully) enjoy it!
