Using HQM I have created a tutorial of an ME System.
Does not follow a specific thematic focus apart from vanilla Minecraft.
Focuses on automation and resource processing through scientific and mechanical means, utilizing systems like electricity (RF/FE/etc), air pressure, or rotation.
Contains handmade maps or world presets with adventure map features. Typically features highly detailed builds of larger scales than seen in procedural world generation.
Includes quests that drive progression, whether through a quest book, NPC, or other in world source.
Includes educational content aimed towards newer modded Minecraft players, usually guiding the player through specific mods.
Forge is a popular mod loader for versions 1.1+ of Minecraft.

Description
This map uses HQM to create a tutorial of creating an ME System. This is supposed to be for people who dont know a single thing about this mod, and it does not include the crafting recipes, it only teaches you the system. You'll start out simply placing one block.
Skip a couple quests, you'll be making your own ME System! Of course, I can not teach you power generation, as there are many mods for that. I would recommend using EnderIO for generating power, but it is your choice. Many mods generate RF, but dont confuse it with buildcraft's energy, thats also RF. Yes, I know. Confusing. But it becomes simple, as a lot of popular modpacks dont include build craft. Also, you can make an ender quarry once you are more advanced from EnderIO, but this modpack is for Applied Energistics 2 only for the ME System.
