Create: Create adds a bunch of tools, items, and blocks to help automate and allows for automation using multiple systems not just using all in one machines.
Immersive Engineering: IE is a mod that adds a bunch of realistic technological additions like powerlines, multiblock machines, and a variety of fun items.

There are also a ton of smaller mods that add tiny additions to the game like MmmMmmMmmMmm which adds a dummy for testing weapons, Progressive Bosses which makes all bosses harder the more times you beat them, and a large variety of clientside additions.
