MINECRAFT MEDIEVAL WAR

An unofficial recreation of the modpack used in RyanNotBrian's YouTube series "Medieval War".

Find the video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H6TDcWtfvu0&t as well as the other videos in the series on his channel

THE OFFICIAL ONE IS ON THE RYANNOTBRIAN DISCORD! CHECK THE VIDEO DESCRIPTION FOR A LINK!

I MADE THIS NOT KNOWING THERE WAS AN OFFICIAL VERSION! THIS IS JUST A RECREATION/PORT!

 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fabric for 1.16.5 is REQUIRED!!

Since this is one of my first CurseForge modpacks, there may not be frequent updates.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Installation Instructions:

I'm no expert at modpacks, so there are probably more easy ways to install this that I don't know of.

Currently there is no official server-side pack, although I may potentially make one in the future.

Method 1: (EASIEST METHOD)

Currently, the easiest installation method I know is using the CurseForge app.

Step 1: Look at the right side of the screen and find Recent Files (alternatively, go to files and look for the most recent)

Step 2: Click on the file name, which will take you to another page, then click the orange Install button.

Step 3: Download the CurseForge App if you haven't already then install the modpack.

Step 4: Wait for it to download, then hit play!

Method 2:

You can also install the ZIP through MultiMC, though I'm having trouble with it at the moment. You can add it normally (Create Instance, Import From Zip and browse to the modpack ZIP you downloaded from this page.) then to get it to work properly, right click the modpack and then Edit Instance, in the Version tab right click and press Install Fabric. Click the latest version then OK, now it can be launched.

Server Method:

I will update this if I make a server-side one day, until then, setup a fabric server using the Fabric Installer (search up a tutorial for this) or your preferred server host, then install the following mods in the mod folder:

Backslot, Crusade, Dehydration, DualRiders, Fabric API, Minecraft Dungeons Weapons, Polymorph, Things, Waystones and War Hammers. Maybe some others and apis/dependencies, I'm not an expert in this stuff.

Install them all for 1.16.5, again if I make a serverside one day it should be easier, until then this will have to do.

 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mods:

[Iris and Sodium are replaced by Optifine and Optifabric in the videos, but I included them since they're better for fabric. I also included or omitted several mods, just because I thought it was better or more accurate.]

Sadly ReplayMod isn't working with Polymorph, so I removed it (may add back in the future)
