About
Description
A simple Vanilla+ mod pack for Mercurial fighters to use when recording combat encounters on Vanilla servers, without providing an unfair advantage. This pack is intended for smaller pvp servers and goes to great lengths to avoid commonly banned mods. This pack primarily adds in HUD elements provided by common vanilla clients, with the ability to also use the Replay mod to record fights and interactions to review for practice, improvement, or hack investigations.
This pack is based in Fabric for faster loading time and performance optimization and includes overlays for Inventory, Potion Effect timers, equipped items, and their durability, as well as a compass displaying the cardinal directions at all times. Mousetweaks allows for some quality-of-life features involving inventory management, and AppleSkin provides detailed hunger and saturation information. A zoom mod is also present to allow for easy distance-spotting before engagement in PVP.
Ultimately, the goal of this pack is to provide a streamlined PVP experience on vanilla servers, without providing unfair advantages over other existing allowed clients, while providing compatibility with replay and recording mods which most clients do not currently have.
