Modpack
Meridia's Beacon
No reviews yet
Its a little modpack :^). Vanilla with a bit of spice.
Does not follow a specific thematic focus apart from vanilla Minecraft.
Features content that solely expands on Vanilla mechanics and gameplay.
Includes a minimal amount of tech, usually small tech features with the purpose of QoL or basic automation/transport.
Includes quality of life improvements and small tweaks to enhance and customize gameplay.
Suitable for casual gameplay with lower difficulty.
Adds or expands fishing mechanics, gear, fish, or aquatic gathering.
Focuses on cooking, recipes, and food-related mechanics.
Fabric is a mod loader for versions 1.14+ of Minecraft, particularly popular for client side and optimization mods.

About
Description
Minecraft with some simple extras.
A pack to enjoy the lastest content with some extra modded goodness on top. Keeping it very (mostly(probably)) simple with some forgiveness worked into the package. Combat has been adjusted, making armed mobs far more dangerous on hard. Visual and sound effects have been added upon. The rest being QoL and very minimal content additions that I think suit vanilla very well. Content wise is mostly unused mobs from mob votes and some simple new structures. Other small changes will be added down the line as mods are updated. Same goal in mind though; minimal extra content, aimming for QoL or very vanilla suited additions.
Made a bit more visually pleasing with:
- smooth GUIs
- flappy capes and custom capes
- dynamic lights
- many particles
- HUD info goodies
- mob spawn animations
- distant horizons mod
- first person model and animations
- also some resource packs to choose from (best to choose between NewDefault+ or Vintage for textures, add on whatever else that works)
- better third person camera
With extra content stuff, some being ambient content:
- food stuff
- a camera
- unused vote mobs
- graves
- furniture
- waystones
- voicechat
- lots of sounds + sound physics
- new fishies + extra axolotl variants
- missing sheep biome variants (sheep textures break if you plan on using Fresh Animations RP (I may try fixing one day (no guarantee)))
- few standard structure mods
And the tweaks to top it off:
- voids don't kill
- sword blocking
- combat/tool adjustments
- few optimization mods
- move with opened inventory
- the classic MP nether portal fix
- sodium and iris for extra settings and shaders
- longer days/nights config (needs manual adjustment for extended day/night periods)
There's more little things not listed here that I'm sure I'm forgetting.
Additions and removals of mods may occur. I will try to avoid this temptation where I can. If better alternatives arrise that won't break worlds and are non destructive, then it may be added in to replace/compliment current mods.
Hopefully this makes for a bit more enjoyable of an experiance on 1.21.11
Hopefully enjoy :^)
