Prem is a high-stakes, magic-centric survival experience set in a world where the terrain is as much of an adversary as the creatures that roam it. Designed specifically for the Merp Merp SMP Season 3, this pack pushes the limits of exploration, arcane mastery, and survival.

The World of Prem

Exaggerated Realism

Powered by a specialized integration of Tectonic and Terralith, Prem features terrain at a cinematic scale.

• Massive Continents: Sprawling landmasses that force players to rely on preparation and travel.
• Vertical Vistas: Towering mountain ranges that reach up to Y=640 and deep, winding subterranean river systems.
• Infinite Horizons: Fully optimized for Distant Horizons, allowing you to experience the true scale of the landscape with sweeping Level of Detail (LOD) rendering.
• Long seasons: One full season (winter, summer etc) in game comes out to about 7 days in real life, placing one in-game year at roughly one full month IRL.
• Colder Sweat: Deep adjustments to cold sweat's configuration to account for terrain widening etc.

Arcane Sovereignty

In Prem, magic is not a convenience—it is a discipline.

• Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks: Progress through a deeply gated magic system.
• Recursive Upgrades: Higher-tier scrolls and equipment require complex crafting chains and rare materials.
• The Occult & Eldritch: Engage in rituals to unlock ancient schools of magic that remain hidden from the unworthy.

Unforgiving Survival

On the Merp Merp SMP, survival is earned, and death has a permanent weight.

• Vitality Penalty: Every death strips away a portion of your maximum health.
• Survival Loop: Regain your strength through positive survival traits—proper rest, a diverse and high-quality diet, and staying alive.
• World Tiers: Mobs and challenges scale as the world evolves. Your ascent to power is matched by the increasing hostility of the land itself.

Rare Antiquity

The world has been stripped of easy treasures.

• Rarefied Loot: Artifacts and powerful Relics have been made significantly rarer through surgical loot table modifications. Every discovery feels just like that - a discovery. *this is a wip
• Apotheosis Integration: Master powerful affixes and enchantments to survive the late-game scaling.
