Description

DISCLAIMER: THIS MODPACK IS A WORK IN PROGRESS, BUGS AND UNINTENDED USE OF MECHANICS MAY HAPPEN DURING GAMEPLAY.

The Ender Dragon threatens the end of the Overworld. Corruption from the End has seeped over rising the dead, tainting inhabitants, and calling forth beings from beyond! You, a Seeker, must work together with others to brave difficult challenges and obstacles!

This is a difficult modpack balanced around multiplayer, playing with others is highly recommended.

MAIN FEATURES:
  • Overhauled Combat system
  • Player Classes/Abilities
  • Enhanced 3rd Person gameplay
  • Player Stress
  • Ender Eye overhaul system
  • Dungeons and more!
Player Stress:

Despite newfound strengths, Players will find themselves becoming more stressed from the constant evils they face. Even with fully enchanted armor, potion effects, and powerful weapons, failing to keep your Stress in check will result in death.

Overhauled Combat:

Using the Epic Fight Mod, combat has been changed significantly! Both Players and a majority of Monsters have telegraphed animations to their attacks, making combat slower overall but also having choices in battle matter more.

The Epic Fight Mod also adds in various new weapon types each with their own inherent special abilities!
Longsword - Defensive stance allowing players to automatically block incoming attacks.

Greatsword - 3 giant swings cleaving anything in their path.
Spear - Sweeping blows or stab combos dependent on how the spear is held.
Daggers - A Crippling stab or an Offensive stance that adds dashing to your attacks dependent on if you are dual-wielding or not.

Tachi - A fast short range elbow jab into a armor penetrating slash.

Katana - A devastating instant slash that covers considerable distance.

Knuckles - A flurry of blows that pummels nearby foes.

Players and Monsters have the ability to perform Critical Strikes, these devastating attacks deal massive damage and can apply varying effects both good and bad.

To help Players deal with the difficult trials ahead, restorative flasks can be traded from custom villagers, each with varying effects.

Various mods and resourcepacks have been included to also allow players to play in 3rd person! Together with new models and animations, 3rd person perspective will no longer feel as awkward and clunky as vanilla gameplay!

  • Shoulder Surfing
  • Epic Fight Animations
  • Fresh Animations (you must switch from Rubidium to Optifine to enable animations!)
Player Classes/Abilities:

Expanding on the weapon types, each weapon also follows specific Player classes!
Swordsman/Sword, Dual-Swords - A Utility class that can perform in any role, tanking hits in the frontline, dealing damage with dual-wield combos, and providing buffs and healing with abilities.

Duelist/Longsword - A skill-based class focused on survivability and scoring long kill-combos, parrying attacks and becoming stronger with each kill.

Lancer/Spear - A frontline class built to deal heavy damage with both regular attacks and abilities.

Slayer/Greatsword - The heaviest class made to take absurd amounts of damage and dish it back to multiple enemies at a time.

Pugilist/Knuckles - A secondary tanking class with high amounts of health, trading blows and grappling foes.

Huntsman/Bow and Axe - A ranged class made to strafe and mark foes, felling even the toughest enemies.

Skirmisher/Dagger, Dual-Daggers - An opportunist using stealth and potions to wreak havoc in battles.

Ronin/Tachi - The glass cannon using fast-paced combos and finishers to perform in any situation.

New Eyes of Ender:

Using the End Remastered mod, no longer are the days of farming blazes and endermen, instead you must adventure to various biomes and locations to find up to 16 unique ender eye variants to open the portal to the end. Keep in mind that finding these eyes are no easy task, and will be the main focus of your journey.

Dungeons and more:

Spawners and Chests in dungeons are indestructible and renewable!
Spawners will automatically destroy all nearby light sources, keeping them functional at all times. Precautions have also been made to make spawners slower over time to prevent mod farming!

Chests in dungeons have loot instanced to each player! meaning everyone gets their own loot. All naturally spawning chests will also replenish their contents after 1 hour.

Various other mods and datapacks have been added to provide different experiences with biomes and dungeons.

Many other key/core mechanics and features can be found with extensive detail in-game! using FTBQuests you can find information tabs on a majority of things. If more traction is made for this modpack I will consider creating a wikipage to include this information for easier access to more players.

Any issues that are found or suggestions are appreciated, be sure to leave them in the comments and I will see what I can get to.
