Wiss's RPG Adventure Pack

A custom Minecraft 1.12.2 modpack I made for me and my friends.

The idea was simple: make a fantasy RPG-style modpack where getting stronger actually feels rewarding. Instead of focusing on giant factories and automation, the pack focuses on exploration, dragons, magic, enchantments, leveling up, and becoming ridiculously overpowered.

Custom Changes

I spent way too much time editing configs, JSON files, traits, materials and recipes.

Some of the things I changed:

• Rebalanced a lot of Construct's Armory armor materials.
• Increased armor caps so endgame materials can actually use their full stats.
• Reworked Supremium and Gaia armor progression.
• Added custom Silent Gear materials for:
  • Mythril
  • Adamantium
  • Psimetal
  • Psigem
  • Ivory Psimetal
  • Ebony Psimetal
  • Dragonsteel(both ice and fire)
  • Goblot and the dimensional variants of ite(end and nether)
• Rebalanced Gobber materials.
• Added custom traits and effects to several materials.
• Added crafting recipes for some rare So Many Enchantments enchantments.
• Tweaked progression to make different gear paths viable.

The Idea

The pack was built around different progression paths.

For example:

• One player can focus on Tinkers' Construct + Botania.
• Another can focus on Silent Gear + Gobber.
• Someone else can become a Psi wizard.
• Or just become a vampire titan and cause problems for everyone.

Warning

Balance is probably questionable.

At some point I looked at a piece of armor with thousands of durability, custom traits, Advanced Protection IV, Advanced Thorns III and Strengthened Vitality and thought:

"yeah this seems fine"

So if something ends up being overpowered, that's probably intended.
