A Modpack for Friends

Welcome to MinecwaftWivFwiends, a pack to Minecraft with friends!

MinecwaftWivFwiends has three main goals in mind for its design. These goals synergize well with each other and inform pretty much all of the decisions that go into what to include with the pack:

1. A lightweight package that will work on most computers that can run Minecraft,
2. A user-friendly, "vanilla plus" philosophy that is engaging for experienced players while also being welcoming to players new to modding Minecraft, and
3. A quick-to-update selection of mods that allows the pack as a whole to keep up with Minecraft's official updates relatively easily.

A few of the more specific focuses of the modpack are:

• Exploring the expansive world of Minecraft, made even bigger with mods such as Biomes O'Plenty and Towns and Towers,
• Server-focused upgrades like Lootr, Chat Heads, and Ender Dragon Egg Respawn to give everyone a chance to play no matter when they join,
• Quality-of-life additions such as JEI, Jade, JourneyMap, and AppleSkin to make everything more accessible to players unfamiliar with other mods,
• Building tools and additions, including the Macaw's suite of blocks, MrCrayfish's Furniture Mod, and Stoneworks to bring new ideas into builds without distracting from the original Minecraft aesthetic,
• Extra storage options to handle the extra blocks and items, namely Storage Drawers and Tom's Simple Storage Mod, and
• Mods designed to make all of this easier to run, comparable to vanilla minecraft, while still allowing shader support through "Iris" for those who partake.

Progress on 1.21.11

An official 1.21.11 version has been released! Old worlds should still work on the new modpack, but always back up your world before changing files!
