Description

This pack is my imagining of what Runescape and Minecraft would be if they were put into a blender. However this is just a modpack for Minecraft so let's say the ratio is 1:3 in favor of the craft! I have rigorously tested every mod before adding them, changing or removing items or features to suite the style of a medieval world.

What makes Minescape feel like Runescape?

Runescape at it's very core is its 28 skills. Minecraft already envelops most of these, mining, woodcutting, farming, combat, etc.

Some mods try to improve on those skills: Anvil Tweaks, Enigmatic Legacy, Fishing Real, Immersive Engineering, Simple Farming.

Some features from Runescape that are just missing from Minecraft, but not Minescape are:

  • How much health food heals you!
  • Pick up exp instantaneously!
  • Cosmetic armor to make you look snazzy!
  • Mute unpleasant sounds!
  • Gravestones so you don't lose your items!
  • Better customizable HUD!
  • Mob health bars!
  • Banks!!!
  • Lodestones/Waystones!
  • Worldmap and Minimap!

Other mods generally just add to the experience of Minecraft as a whole. Quark adds everything that the base game should have and Abnormals Mods as well as Team Aurora expand on current features of vanilla improving them significantly! You will also come across new dungeons, and tools to help you find rare biomes and lost friends!

- You may also notice a beautiful new main menu, (nostalgia may be present) along with basically every QOL mod that's out for 1.16 :)

- One of the more powerful mods is Artifacts. It adds various curios that all do special things such as: permanent night vision or water breathing, 50% extra base health, an umbrella to glide down from mountains or block arrows, and many more cool trinkets! Because of the uniqueness of each artifact I have created a special datapack that adds a unique way of obtaining each one. Special thanks to Klaaf for helping me learn how to make datapacks and giving me the idea for it!!!

Ring of Seven Curses:

- This is an optional super hardcore difficulty that can't be undone! Equip at your own peril!

Resources Packs:

-There are optional resource packs you may apply if you would to play with dark mode and just general texture improvements to items, blocks, and mobs, but the choice is yours which is why you have to apply them yourself!

BlazeandCave's Advancement Pack:

- This datapack adds 750+ advancements to the game that you can work towards, think of these as quests :P You can download it as extra content and I strongly recommend trying it out!

Optifine:

- This pack is completely compatible with Optifine 1.16.1 HD U G2 and I highly recommend you download the jar and place it in your mods folder!
