Minetown 2

Introduction

‘Minetown 2’ is a follow up to the 1.12.2 modpack ‘Minetown’. Minetown 2 is made for Minecraft version 1.16.4. The principal goal of the modpack is to add to the 1.16 version of the game without fundamentally changing the gameplay experience too much. Consequently, Minetown 2 consists of a relatively light load of 80 mods in total.

Features

The most game-changing mod within the pack is ‘Create’, a fairly new tech mod that adds to the automation available to players while maintaining a similar feel to the vanilla game.  The other mods included can be categorized into four groups:

• Cosmetic (ItemPhysics, Serene Seasons etc.)
• Decoration (Decorative Blocks, Supplementaries etc.)
• Exploration (OTBYG, Dungeon Crawl, Dungeon Plus
• Quality of Life Improvements (Gravestone Mod, JEI)

The modpack also features its own texture pack, models, main menu and music, all of which remain similar to the vanilla Minecraft experience.
