Description
Miracle for Potatoes
This build is designed to squeeze every last drop of color out of weak PCs and already surpasses Minecraft Bedrock in system requirements (with shaders, both Bedrock and this build) by several times
Miracle for Potatoes (MFP) is designed to extract better performance and improved visuals out of weak or outdated PCs. Enhanced graphics are achieved using lightweight shaders combined with my custom preset. The settings are pre-configured to find a solid balance between visual quality and performance, aiming for a frame rate around 60 FPS.
This pack is not perfect and will be continually updated.
Features and Improvements
MFP adds a selection of visual, audio, and performance adjustments to improve the baseline game:
- Visual Adjustments: RPG-style achievement banners, cleaner interfaces, and various minor visual tweaks that are impractical to list individually.
- Immersive Audio: 3D spatial acoustics featuring realistic cave reverb and echoes.
- First-Person View: A full-body model that allows you to see your character's body from the first-person perspective.
- Optimization: Core performance tweaks configurations to help stabilize frame rates.
- Gameplay & QoL Tweaks: Small technical adjustments and quality-of-life improvements that refine general gameplay.
Performance & Hardware Reference
- Tested Configuration: GTX 550 Ti 1GB, i3-3220, 8GB DDR3
- In-Game Results: The game runs at 50 to 100 FPS with occasional drops to 20 FPS for a few seconds. This performance is achieved with shaders enabled.
Please Note: If your personal PC configuration is lower or weaker than the test specs listed above, it is recommended to disable shaders to ensure a stable frame rate.
Important Guidelines
- Do not change the settings mindlessly: The current options are tailored specifically for hardware efficiency in MFP.
- Language Setup: Since the configuration files are ported along with the mods, please make sure to manually change the language in the settings if it does not match yours on the first launch.
Have a great game!
