About
Description
Once again, this modpack is meant to be used on the Minecraft server associated with the "One Big F*cking Mistake" Discord server. It is also a sequel of sorts to other Minecraft modpack projects I've made, but never published on CurseForge. It runs on minecraft 1.18.2 Forge. There will be no Fabric port, ever.
The main gimmick of the server is that players will be divided into two teams and then compete for various objectives. As such, most of the mods here are in service to making that gameplay more enjoyable.
Minecolonies is here for town-building, and should serve as a home base for each team. Ars Noveau and Primal Magick are here to add magic flavor to the mod, for those who enjoy it, and Immersive Engineering, Immersive Aircraft, and MrCrayfish's gun mod are here to add a tech flavor for those who prefer that instead. Tinkers' Construct is here because in my personal opinion, any modpack that has the opportunity to include Tinkers' Construct should.
I believe that the magic and tech sides of things should be fairly balanced, so that players who want to only spec into one or the other should be on about the same level, and players who spec into both shouldn't be too overpowered, but combat balance has not been tested, so I might make modifications later to better balance it, or simply add more mods to shift the balance.
If you'd like to use this pack for your own purposes, go ahead! Just make sure that you link back to the CurseForge page if you're doing so in a public capacity, and let me know! I'd love to know if people enjoy my modpack and what improvements they think I should make.
