Modern Golden Age

Modern Golden Age is a modpack built to capture the feel of modded Minecraft at its peak — the era where tech, magic, and exploration all had their place, without unnecessary complexity or forced progression.

This pack blends classic mods and ideas with select modern improvements, aiming to recreate that 2016–2018 “golden age” experience while still feeling fresh. Progression is guided, but not restricted. You’re free to build, explore, automate, and experiment at your own pace.

There’s a strong focus on:

• Meaningful progression through tech and magic
• Exploration that actually rewards you
• Systems that evolve as you play (ranks, unlocks, and progression mechanics)
• Keeping things fun and engaging without turning into a grind-heavy “expert” pack

Unlike many modern packs, this avoids relying on mods like Create as a crutch, instead focusing on a more traditional modded experience with depth and variety.

• Blue Skies – A unique dimension with new biomes, mobs, and bosses to challenge
• Twilight Forest – A classic adventure dimension filled with progression-based bosses and exploration
• Mystical Agriculture – Grow your own resources and reduce reliance on traditional mining
• AgriCraft – Expand farming mechanics with crop breeding and optimization

Each of these mods offers its own path, letting you focus on tech, magic, exploration, or automation — or mix them together however you want.

This is my first time creating a modpack, so there will definitely be issues, bugs, and things that need balancing.
