There’s a 1/10 chance to encounter the Pumpkillager when harvesting a pumpkin block surrounded by empty spaces (NESW + above).
Pumpkins may spawn alongside pigs, sprinkling more chances across the world.
Take his questbook → perform multi‑block rituals → survive conversations → prepare for the boss fight.
Bring your best armour, shield, and potions. You’ll know when it’s time.
