About

Description

Live through the monopolist economy with the people around you. Have access to mods that allow you and your friends to build a realistic environment, with access to guns, vehicles, cash and more build an economy and build a civilisation. Go to war, and repeat. Monopolist is the perfect way to have fun with your friends and build your way to the top of the economy, maybe you become a gas giant and sell gas to the world, or whatever it is. Build your economy, elect a government and be free to do whatever you do.

What is Monopolist?:
Monopolist is a modpack designed for modern roleplay smps, that have a modded element within them, allowing players to dive into brave new tasks and grow there creativity. We believe monopolist servers should grow there own economy by the usage of players and there interactions with each other, for a real life similarity or element.

Recommendations:
Make sure that your server has enough ram and storage to support the number of people you plan on using.

- Group of >10 players (the higher the better)

- Elect a government and give them a large lump sum of funds (this will be the total cash of the economy of that $dollar)

     - Give people a way to make some of this money, whether it be by working for the government or selling product

     - Creator laws and enforce your way on your civilisation.

     - Develop your civilisation and go on however you see fit, cash may change, iron may be worth significantly more than the dollar, who knows? Thats just the economy.

     - Allow plays to use trade to develop the system around them.
- Give starter players a sum of money

- Players go around developing civilisations and nations and developing their own laws and rules, other governments may be generated, everything is up to the players.

- Make sure to use what you have and create a thriving civilisation.

Mods and modpack:
Monopolist is built up by a large array of mods, most modern computers should be able to perform well. Big elements of this come from mods including Applied Energistics, Chisel and Bits and MrCrayfish's mods, they all make up a huge amount of the experience. Other aesthetic mods like biomes o' plenty and the economy mod allow this to build up to the main idea of Monopolist.

Note:

If you are using a M1 Mac go to JVM ARGUMENTS on the Minecraft launcher and add '-Dfml.earlyprogresswindow=false' on the end of the text. Loading it once may prompt an error but try loading it again after.

there is no update schedule, we will update mods, versions and other items when we see fit.
