About

Description

Currently this Modpack adds 3 more pollutants to pollutions of the realms by EnderLanky. Being Methane, Nitrogen and Ozone. It is a modpack because there is no way to export the configs, ressources for the pollutants in any other way. If you only want the pollutants grab the ressource packs and the "adpother" folder in the configs and copy them over to your respective modpack and don't forget to enable the ressoucepacks of the pollutants. Otherwise their texture will be corrupted.

Methane: A more sever version of Sulfur which is produced when mobs die or from organic sources. Effects that are caused by it are: poison, nausea, wither, slowness and weakness to the player, while it buffs the hostile mobs with the positive counterpart of the effects.

Nitrogen: A more sever version of Carbon mainly produced by modded mashines from mekanism or other similar mods. It isn't good for your health as well.

Ozone: It isn't really a pollutant! It has positive effects on the enviroment while in the air. But not when you come directly in contact with it. It weakens hostile mobs by giving them negative effects. It has no emiters but will spawn naturally in the air accross chunks

Update: 1.1

2 New Pollutants join the Pack. The toxic Carbonmonoxide and the flammable Coaldust!

Carbon Monoxide: A toxic carbon-compound which is primally emited from carbon sources, in low emmisions from coal, but coke (immersive engineering) emits it in larger quantities. Most carbon based mashines also emit it. It inflicts wither and poison upon contact and also when in the air at low concentrations like 10 or 20%. Keep an Eye out for this one, it is deadly! Oh and by the way it likes to exploded quickly!

Coaldust: Coal particles in the air! Emitted from Coal-Ore, Coal Processing and in low quantities also coal burning. This dust sinks to the bottom of the ground where it pollutes water and covers plants causing them to die similar to volcanic ash. It is very flammable, which causes it to explode and burn quickly upon contact with fire or other ignition sources. It causes blindness, and poison upon contact and also inflicts the "flammable" effect from immersive engineering, which causes you to take more fire damage (if you have immersive E).

Update 1.2

Small ajustments to some values.

Update 1.3

2 New Gasses are here

Oxygen: Produced by plants, primaly leaves. It afflicts positive effects, up to a certaint point (50% concentration) where its positive effects are negated by worse negative ones. Too much of it makes the enviroment more flammable, including entities, and plants cease to grow or die with too much of it. So keep a healthy balance at about 35%.

Hydrogen: A very flammable gas, it doesn't cause much harm appart from increasing fire damage to entities and exploding in low concentration. Produced by the smoker or generated naturally, it can be filtered with silver ingots. (I know thats weird but that is the actual material used to purify it in real life for later uses)

Update 1.4

2 more Pollutants are here to cause hazardous situations

Chlorine and Flourine are mostly similar: They are Poisonousn, deadly and explode easiely, however Flourine inflicts weakness and is lime green, Chlorine inflicts slowness and is a light yellow. Both are emited by Immersive engineering and Mekanism mashines. Flourine is emited more by Immersive engineering mashines, Chlorine more by Mekanism mashines.

If you don't like a certain feature configure it feel free to ask if you need help. I would also appreciate feedback regarding the pollutants. As I am not an Expertise Climatologist, you can freely tell me what extra features I can include, like more emiters or effects of the pollutants.
