Description

This modern continuation has more multiblocks, more ores, more magic, and more tech!
Following the general theme of the original pack, each chapter of the questbook will take you through a technological age where you'll get access to higher tiers of metal and unlock more mods, better processing options, and more advanced magic!
Chapters one and two will start with Create, working your way through the Nether to get Zinc for Brass, and unlock Steel by using the Foundry! You'll need a lot of Steel for Immersive Engineering coming up next, along with Compressing some of it to start Pneumaticcraft!
You'll get to play with some of your old favorite mods and plenty of new ones!

Custom Ores and Ore Processing!

There are 3 types of veins that spawn in world.
1) Normal mbm sized veins (around 20-40 blocks, can have multiple types of ore)
2) More common small veins of poor ores (no processing available)
3) Very rare huge Compound ore veins
Ore generation will only spawn the compound ores as well, for example the laser drill from IF.
The compound ores are all fully custom, and can be smelted directly into a tier 0 metal (iron, copper, tin, gold). For each time you process them you unlock a higher tier metal, which can be sorted out using custom multiblocks, the sorters. Some ore is lost in sorting, with higher tiers being more efficient.
Sorting a compound ore results in pure ore, which can also be obtained by processing regular ore.
You’ll need to find some of the next tier ore by traveling to a new dimension, such as the nether or moon, in order to unlock better tiers of ore processing.
There are also plans to add catalysts which will allow you to target specific resources from a cross-section of several compound ores.
This is mostly finalized (though only partially implemented) so most of it should be reliable information going forward.
