Description

Note: Troubleshooting and Need to Knows for Installing are at the bottom of the page, it is crucial you read these before attempting to play the pack

Mods

Mungus Pack 2 is a continuation and complete overhaul of the Mungus Pack 1, this time there are both a better quality of mods and far more of them.  I intentionally went out of my way to add not so much lesser known mods, but ones that are new or haven't been as saturated as Mekanism and Draconic etc, meaning that the gameplay experience is fresh and that the options available in the pack are far wider. Mods like these would be Embers, ElectroBob's Wizardry and Animania etc.

Dimensions

The original Mungus Pack's dimensions were few and far between, leading to gameplay becoming stale in the exploration front but due to the nature of that pack there was little that could be done, now, in Munus Pack 2, we have both Twilight Forest and Aether 2. These two mods alone are massive and packed with enough content like bosses and such on their own

Bossfights

Another addition is the introduction of Quests, Currently there is one main questline and 3 other optional ones, as part of these quests there are two unique boss fights in the game as of now, these will no doubt be tweaked and upgraded in the future and have more added to them but for now I think they are hard enough and varied to force players to take advantage of all mods, not just simply sitting on them in draconic armor tanking hits and one shotting them :).

(note: currently bossfights will only work if played on the map (MungusCraft, which should come with the installation of the pack, otherwise I am making efforts to have a public download link available.)

Better Quest Design

Another feature of the pack is in how the quests are made. I wouldn't say I take personal offence to modpacks with quests that are highly structured but I also see no appeal in them what so ever. As a result, in Mungus Pack 2 I made it is my goal to create far fewer quests with a plethora of options with which to approach them, meaning that a player who is familiar with many mods gets to utilize their advanced knowledge in the pack and that player's who aren't so familiar will get to learn a wide variety of mods. The main quest is intentionally very hard to complete as it puts a focus on clever automation rather than brute-forcing your way through with bad grinding.

Note, this focus makes the mod pack a little less beginner friendly to finish the quest line, however, that doesn't mean that it would be difficult to complete, just that the learning curve of the mods would mean it would take a long time and that isn't a negative thing so I don't think this should put new players off. All in all, the main quest

Trouble Shooting & Need To Knows.

In order to experience the bossfights, and as an extension being able to complete the quest line legitimately, you will need to play on the map called "MungusCraft" that comes in the download.

The reason for this is that I don't have the expertise/ couldn't find a mod that makes it simple to spawn structures and customNPC entities on demand in every created world so if anyone has a fix I'd be delighted to hear as I have no experience with any type of coding or command blocks.

Note, due to this modpack being very new, there has not been an outstanding amount of quality testing on it so some quests may well be broken/ impossible. If this is the case, type into the command prompts:

/bq_admin edit true,

now open up the quest book with the tilde (~) or the book and just click on one of the quest lines themselves in the tab to the left, now at the bottom hit designer.

On the far right there should be a button that looks like a tick in a box, now simply use this to complete the quest that was giving you trouble.

If this doesn't work or you can't figure it out, the quests are done through a mod called Better Questing so you can try find fixes on uncle google.
