Description

IMPORTANT

If you want the modded End dimension

or you plan to join my world,

you will need to install Stellarity Lite from Modrinth

AFTER you install Murphey's Magicraft Reborn.

If you dont' care, or don't want the added End biomes,

and you are NOT joining my world,

you can play this pack as is just fine without it.

This is a smalll (ish) pack with Ars Nouveau being the central focus. There are 102 mods in total, probably half of wich are just dependencies. I tried to keep the number down because I feel like having too many mods is overwhelming and changes the game too much. This pack is not fancy. I have not added any custom menus, ui, questing, documentation, or other bells and whistles. I may in the future, but right now, it's just a collection of mods that I think work very well together to create the kind of gameplay I was looking for.

This pack starts you off much like vanilla minecraft, except your spawn will always be in a village. At first, you have no spell book or magic. You have to find the materials to make one, and then you can begin crafting spells and learning glyphs. As you progress, you will become more and more powerful. Once you have explored the nether, and eventually kill the ender dragon, you will have the ability to unock HUGE amounts of power that can make your end game experience somewhat creative like. Once you get powerful enough, You can have an almost unlimited amount of storage at the click of a button from anywhere, in any dimension. This means you can access your FULL inventory of items without having to carry around shulker boxes, or visiting your chest room. You can create small, easy to craft farms for things like wood, crops, and xp. You can perform a ritual that gives you creative flight at your base. You can create a spell that chops down whole trees with one button press. The possiblilites are almost endless. Essentially, this pack gives you the best of both game modes. You get the challenge of progression, then get the conveninence and creative freedom to build without the limits of survival mode (to an extent). For documentation about how to make the most out of the Ars Nouveau mod, you start your journey with a book that has nearly everything you need to know. The only thing I have changed about this mod is I have increased the cost to learn most of the glyphs, and perform the rituals in order to prevent becoming too powerful too quickly, and I removed the VERY much op caster tomes from the loot table. ( no more early game elytra, or getting lucky enough to find the tunneling book)

As for the rest of the pack, I give you a very much incomplete rundown of what you'll find here (just the mods i think make the biggest impact on gameplay):

SHADERS: I have pre-installed Solas and complimentary unbound. I play using solas shaders. if you would rather have a less dramatic shader, complimentary unbound is still very pretty and looks fantastic without the extra glowy flowers/blocks and less dramatic lighting effects. Or you can install the shader of your choice.

Ars Nouveau- A magic mod. You can craft a spellbook, create custom spells, and more. There's automation for things like smelting, crops, log farming, xp farming, etc.

Essential- Makes it easy to share your world via LAN without having to find port numbers and ip addresses.

Oh the biomes we've gone- Adds several new and beautiful biomes.

Deeper and Darker- Adds another dimension to the deep dark, along with some extra items and other things. Tbh, I haven't played around with this one much on my own, as I try to avoid the deep dark. I prefer surface dwelling lol. But my kid wanted it so here we are.

Minecraft comes alive reborn- Overhauls villagers and how we interact with them. They are more like other players, and no more squidward faces. You can talk to them, develop friendships, and even start a family with them.

End remastered- Makes getting to the end dimension a bit (a lot) harder. Instead of eyes of ender, you now need 12 of the 16 unique eyes that are scattered about the overworld and the nether.

****Stellarity Lite- COMPLETELY reworks the end dimension. there are actual biomes there now, and the dragon fight is a bit different. (must dowload separately if you want it. The Lite version is not available on curseforge, therefore I could not inclued it in the pack files)

The Aether- A new dimension to explore

Lio's Overhauled Villages- Just upgraded villages.

Lootr- instead of loot chests being global, now every player gets their own loot from each chest. No more finding past looted structures and getting nothing for your trouble!

Farmer's Delight (and a few addons for it) - Adds more cooking interaction and new food recipes.

Carry On- allows you to pick up and carry certain entities (yes, you can now carry your villagers) Have your off hand and main hand empty, then shift and click on an entity to pick it up. works on most small passive entities.

Even Better Nether- adds new biomes and mobs to the Nether

YUNG's Better Nether Fortresses- upgrades and redesigns the nether fortress to be more... fun.

Yung's Better Strongholds- Upgrades and redesigns the stronghold.

Happy Ghast legacy- simply backports the happy ghast so we can have it in this minecraft version

Journey Map- It's a map and minimap.

Waystones- a teleporting system so you don't have to set up complicated nether portal highways.

Mighty Mail- Adds functional mailboxes to the game.

The pack is still a work in progress, so expect many changes in the future. As always, BACK UP YOUR SAVES before updating just in case.
