📥 Installation Guide (For New Players)

Follow these steps to install and play the modpack.

Method 1 — Install Using the CurseForge App (Recommended)

1️⃣ Install the CurseForge App

Download and install the official CurseForge App from the CurseForge website:

https://www.curseforge.com/download/app

Install the application and open it.

2️⃣ Open the Minecraft Section

Inside the CurseForge App:

Select Minecraft

Go to the Modpacks tab

3️⃣ Search for the Modpack

Search for:

Mythic Horizons

Click the modpack and press Install.

The launcher will automatically download everything needed.

4️⃣ Allocate More RAM (Recommended)

Before launching the modpack:

Open the modpack profile

Click the three dots (⋮)

Select Profile Options

Disable Use System Memory Settings

Allocate at least 8 GB of RAM

Recommended:

12–16 GB RAM

5️⃣ Launch the Game

Once installed:

Click Play

Minecraft and Forge will start automatically.

Method 2 — Install Using the ZIP File

If you downloaded the modpack ZIP file from the CurseForge website, follow these steps:

1️⃣ Download the Modpack ZIP

Download the modpack .zip file from the CurseForge project page.

2️⃣ Open the CurseForge App

Launch the CurseForge App and go to:

Minecraft → My Modpacks

3️⃣ Import the Modpack

Click the Import button.

Then:

Select the ZIP file you downloaded from the CurseForge website

Confirm the import

The CurseForge App will automatically install all required files and mods.

4️⃣ Launch the Modpack

After installation is complete:

Click Play

The game will start with the correct Minecraft and Forge version.

⚠️ Important Notes

Make sure you are using the CurseForge App to install the modpack.

Do not extract the ZIP manually.

Allocate enough RAM for the best performance.
