"Vanilla- but better. Expanding on the original Minecraft experience without introducing OP mechanics."

Modded is great, but I'm a player that enjoys the meditative simplicity of vanilla. I have endeavoured to create a modpack that scratches the same itch as vanilla while introducing fun new survival aspects in a balanced manner.

The central mods of this pack are Tinker's Construct (combined with the Veinminer Integration mod), Pam's Harvestcraft and Hardcore Darkness, in addition to other 'flavor' mods such as Realistic Terrain Gen, Base Metals, and 'should-be-in-vanilla' mods that create a more enjoyable and seamless experience such as Better Builders Wands, Mouse Tweaks and many more.

This pack gives you more to explore, more to craft and more to build without introducing over-powered end-game (or not so end-game) additions that ruin the meditative 'mining and crafting' experience of vanilla.

DYNAMIC LIGHTING NOTES:

Realistic Torches is included in this pack, however the built-in dynamic lighting for it is DISABLED by default in favor of optifine (unfortunately I cannot include optifine in this pack).

I recommend you download the latest version of OptiFine HD Ultra for 1.10.2 and go to options > video options > dynamic lighting and enable either fast or fancy. Alternatively you can re-enable Realistic Torches' built in dynamic lighting in it's config file.

This modpack DOES function without these changes, however enabling dynamic lighting will give you the full experience.
