Neo-Tokyo 3 SMP

Neo Tokyo 3 SMP is the official modpack for the Neo-Tokyo-3 community’s SMP. Accordingly, it is designed around an urban, highly technological setting rather than classic vanilla survival.

At its core is The Lost Cities, which automatically generates abandoned megacities with skyscrapers, roads, and various urban structures throughout the world, hence the Tokyo-inspired setting. Building on that, the modpack features a strong focus on technology and automation, with Create (gears, conveyor belts, and mechanical contraptions), along with several addons that add additional machines, diesel generators, and automated weapons production. Mekanism is also included for advanced energy and resource processing.

Combat and PvP are handled through TACZ (Timeless & Classics Guns: Zero), a realistic firearm mod featuring a kill feed and a weapon durability system. For security and decoration, the pack includes SecurityCraft (cameras, alarm systems, keypad doors), Macaw’s Furniture, and Immersive Paintings.

There are also several quality-of-life and optimization mods, such as AppleSkin (hunger and saturation information), NoChatReports (protection against chat reports), Clumps (combines XP orbs), and YUNG’s Better Dungeons/API for improved dungeon generation.

On the client side, players additionally use Embeddium (a performance-focused Sodium fork), JEI (recipe browser), and Xaero’s Mini/World Map. These mods do not require anything to be installed server-side and simply run individually on each player’s client.
