Not too many mods, just some mods for having fun on Nerdfactory's Servers.
This is just my suggestion for him.
Its a Modpack with Exploring, Technic and Magic.
You spawn in a beautiful world, due to biomes o' plenty and you are free to discover
it, so you can build your village, city or Kingdom.
You may start with a simple pulverizer, but you are about to build fusion reactors
and explore the variety of your world.
I recommend installing Optifine for more and stable FpS.
This Modpack contains the BetterFPS Mod by Guichaguri.
