About
Description
Warning: Older versions of this modpack are vastly different and run poorly on low-end machines. Download at your discretion. Optimized for a group of 4-8 players, though can be played with any amount of players.
Neurose's Modpack is a multiplayer-centric modpack full of QoL, performance increases, and several flavor mods to spice things up. There are 3 Netherite alternatives, as well as Tinker's Construct, allowing for a wide variety of player experiences and preferences.
This pack also includes Origins and a few relevant addons for further diversity, though all of the "normal" player options have been left in for those desiring a more relaxed playstyle.
This pack also includes mods such as Enlightened, Quark and Twilight Forest, though such content is not required at any point for progression outside of anything the mods themselves touch (such as the beacon recipe).
Optimized for Steam Deck, and includes an already set up control scheme that minimizes unintentional misinputs as much as possible.
PLEASE report any default config issues to me and I will fix them to the best of my ability.
Current version runs at 45-60 FPS comfortably on 4 GB of RAM, possibly less (untested), with major spikes only occuring on initial load into a world or new dimension (basically whenever a ton of chunks get rendered at once).
Pack has only crashed once, though it was on initial world chunk loading and was unable to be replicated during several days of testing. If this is a common occurence or the cause has been confirmably identified, please report any and all issues to me and I will investigate.
I have a youtube channel where I post occassional updates on the game I'm working on, check that out if that kind of thing interests you. Hoping to post more updates there soon.
