Explore dangerous realms, master magic and machinery, and build a home worth returning to.

Nex Unbound is a large Minecraft 1.21.1 modpack for NeoForge that brings exploration, combat, automation and relaxed settlement life into one quest-supported experience.

Choose your journey

  • Explore dimensions and structures with mods including The Aether, Twilight Forest and Ad Astra.
  • Develop magical abilities through Ars Nouveau, Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks, Occultism and other magic systems.
  • Build workshops and storage networks with Mekanism, Applied Energistics 2, Immersive Engineering and other tech mods.
  • Establish a MineColonies settlement, then enjoy farming, cooking, fishing and building between adventures.
  • Follow 65 quest chapters in Unbound Chronicles, with tasks and claimable rewards.
  • Carry supported mod manuals and the quest book together in the Nex Atlas, powered by Akashic Tome.

A consistent interface

Nex Unbound uses an obsidian-purple interface with blue highlights, celestial details and ember accents. Customizations include menus, Drippy loading screens, inventory and common containers, the hotbar, notifications, Jade tooltips and FTB Quests styling. Some mods retain their own specialized layouts.

Before you play

This is a large pack with hundreds of mods. Loading times and hardware needs vary; no minimum-memory or performance guarantee is claimed. Back up existing worlds before updating. The pack targets Minecraft 1.21.1 and NeoForge; use the versions selected by the release manifest.

Artwork and credits

The menu landscape and wordmark are AI-generated artwork used as interface assets. They are not screenshots of a generated world and do not promise that the pictured observatory exists in your save. Concept mockups are not presented as in-game screenshots.

All included mods remain the work of their respective authors and retain their own licenses. Thanks to the creators of FancyMenu, Drippy Loading Screen, FTB Quests, Akashic Tome, Jade, Patchouli and the other mods that make this pack possible. Original pack configurations and custom UI assets are maintained separately from third-party mods and resource packs.
