About

Description

Welcome to my first ever modpack called Night Of The Living Entities!

About the Creation of the Modpack:

I am a streamer who has been playing a bunch of these modpacks lately, and I have seen some good ones, and some that wasn't really my taste. With this knowledge, I decided if I can't find a modpack that I would stick to playing, how about I add my own so I can stream them myself. So I did, and this is what this modpack has come to.

Goal of the Modpack:

The goal of the modpack is to keep the standard vanilla gameplay of Minecraft and turn it into a horror game with semi realism, while avoiding new blocks and items that don't give the standard Minecraft Gameplay.

The Atmosphere:

When first joining the world, you are met with beautiful shaders and the sounds of the wild. Crickets, sheep, cows, all the normal stuff you will see in your world. Every biome sounds different but matches the realism of what you would hear. Even caves have echos to simulate you actually going into a cave. You can also find new and improved structures around your world that you could live in, or just loot! It starts off calm at first, but then gets worse, and worse, and... worse.

Best Optimization for the Modpack:

  1. Turning music off - Turning the music off gives off a creepier vibe and makes sounds alot better to hear.
  2. Applying Shaders and Resource Packs (If not already applied) - I highly recommend this for the realism sake of the modpack. Gives off the creepy vibes too.
  3. Playing in the Dark - Not required, but could 100% be fun.
  4. Playing with Friends - You can play with friends in the modpack, as far as I know of. I added Essential Mod for multiplayer, and Simple Voice Chat is also included! (SOME MODS COULD HAVE ISSUES, BUT YOU CAN CONFIG THEM IN THE MOD CONFIG MENU IF THERE ARE ANY PROBLEMS)
  5. Keeping Your Starter Items - I recommend keeping your starting items, even if you just put them in a chest. (The Totem is an item that you can use instantly, and you will get a jumpscare and the game will close. Just log back into your world and that mod should be set and ready.)
  6. Turn Cave Lighting to 0 (ComplementaryReimagined Shaders Only)- It should already be set to 0 by default, but if it ain't, go to the Pause Menu > Options > Video Settings > Oculus > ComplementaryReimagined_r5.7.1.zip and click Shader Pack Settings > Lighting > And lastly, set the Cave Lighting Multiplier to 0!

Q/A:

Ofc, this is new to me but I havn't seen any issues yet. If you do see something for me to change, please let me know and I'll look into it!
