About

Description

No Mine's Sky aims to recreate the exploration and discovery gameplay loop of No Man's Sky by using the Field Guide mod.

Video Showcase (will skip to the timestamp of the showcase):

The Field Guide mod allows you to use a spyglass to scan the local wildlife in return for rewards. Currently, each scan simply gives 1 diamond and some xp, but future updates will implement a more robust reward system.

In order to attempt to recreate a small fraction of No Man's Sky procedurally generated Flora and Fauna, this modpack contains many different mob based mods:

  • Alex's Mobs
  • Nautiluses
  • Aquaculture 2
  • the Aether
  • Twilight Forest
  • Vanimals
  • Pale Garden Backport
  • Mutant Monsters
  • Happy Ghast
  • More Mobs
  • Special Mobs

It also contains several Flora based mods:

  • Biomes o' Plenty
  • Oh the Biomes We've Gone
  • Pale Garden Backport

It contains several structure and exploration based mods as well

  • Artifacts
  • Explorer's Compass
  • Nature's Compass
  • Trial Chambers backport
  • Farmer's Delight
