Description

Nonno's Optimizations - Client-side performance booster

This pack is extremely basic. It solely focuses on making Minecraft run as fast as possible on low-end hardware with the least amount of resources. It is, of course, fully compatible with servers.

This pack was originally made for my friend in order to run the latest version of Minecraft on his laptop. It worked fine for him, I hope it could be of use to some other folks on the internet.

Features

  • Sodium Renderer

    • Uses the Sodium mod to optimize the game's rendering system.
    • Entity Rendering Improvements

      • Skip rendering entities when not in view
    • Memory Optimizations

      • Reduced overall RAM usage
      • Improved batching of GPU draw calls
    • Indium Support

      • Support for eventual mods added by users with indium (disabled by default)
    • Reduced Resource Usage When Out of Focus

      • The game optimizes FPS when it is out of focus to consume less resources.
