About
Description
This pack features many mods that we all remember fondly from years passed. Old gems that take us back to simpler times.
There are mods that you'll remember from Technic packs, like Galacticraft, Morph, Witchery, Ars Magica 2, and Dragon Mounts. Mods that you'll remember from old FTB packs, like Mystcraft, Buildcraft, IC2 Experimental, Tinker's Construct, and Thaumcraft 4. And there are mods that remind you of Minecraft YouTube videos you haven't watched in ages, like The Aether, Mutant Creatures, Archimedes' Ships, Portal Gun, and Twilight Forest.
This is not some hasty mash of incompatible mods, it has been carefully tested and heavily configured to provide the most stable and polished experience possible (given the limitations of the 1.7.10 modding scene). There are very few recipe changes, those that have been changed were done so in an effort to provide compatibility, or maintain a semblance of balance. The most notable changes are that Draconium now only generates on the Moon and Mars, and Ender Storage is gated behind Tesseract Frames.
To whom it may concern, IC2 and its addons are disabled by default, to preserve loading times and performance for those who aren't into heavier technical gameplay. It has also been configured for compatibility, if you choose to enable it.
The way the Keybinds are set up, you will have problems with conflicts unless you change them yourself. Conflict in Harmony is broken, but there's a patched version you can use here: http://www.mediafire.com/file/1c0fu7htvb14xpd/cihback-1.0.jar/file
This pack is not exactly featherweight, but it was designed with consideration for lower-end PC's, and every opportunity has been taken to increase performance. This pack uses Fastcraft, and so is incompatible with OptiFine. Fastcraft has provided superior performance in testing, and produces far fewer visual errors and crashes. If you insist on using OptiFine instead, you need to get [OptiFine_1.7.10_HD_U_D6], no newer version will work.
