Patch & Release
Patch & Release is a story-driven DAI experience built around one deceptively simple idea:
What happens when the system follows exactly what you did instead of what you assumed you meant?
You enter a strange, isolated environment caught somewhere between maintenance, deletion, migration, and release. What begins as a seemingly simple interaction quickly becomes something much larger as the world starts exposing the difference between instructions, assumptions, errors, and decisions.
Along the way you'll encounter PATCHER, meet the suspiciously persistent Wiggle Wobble, investigate an increasingly unstable environment, make dialogue choices, follow objectives, and uncover what happened to the space you've been dropped into.
Features
- A complete standalone DAI story experience
- Custom generated experience world
- Experience-specific title screen and presentation
- Interactive first-join introduction
- Objective-driven progression
- Branching dialogue and player choices
- Custom DAI overlays and interface elements
- Environmental storytelling
- Scripted world events
- Multiple narrative states and outcomes
- A deliberately strange mixture of comedy, system logic, and existential software problems
- Designed as a complete experience rather than a traditional Minecraft survival pack
Patch & Release uses Minecraft as the environment, but the experience itself behaves much more like an interactive game built inside DAI.
Read carefully.
The system might actually mean what it says.
