Description

This modpack is broken, highly unbalanced, and no longer maintained play the updated version for more up to date mods and way less bugs/lag issues (You have been warned):
https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/one-thousand-years-after-the-apocalypse
You need to ALLOCATE AT LEAST 8GB before you play otherwise you will experience lag and crashes I'd recommend allocating 12GB if possible. (This is a heavy modpack, also it is not optimized)

===========================================================

Welcome to 100 Years After the Apocalypse a modpack aimed at providing players with a more realistic and unique post-apocalyptic survival experience. You start off in a vast desert where you have to survive many threats such as: scorching desert heat, unpleasant viruses and bacteria than can infect you in many ways, sandstorms and tornadoes that can spawn at any time, smarter mobs capable of obliterating a poorly designed base as well as many other threats that will take any un-prepared player by surprise. On top of the threats listed above in the early game you are stuck in adventure mode unable to break or place blocks without special tools such as the breaking stick (Obtainable by punching tumble weed entities). As you progress you will eventually unlock survival mode (The game auto-sets your game mode when you get this far) and this is when your adventure really begins. At this point in the game you can forget the crafting table (In the case of this modpack it’s the crafting stump) ever existed you must now use a variety of different machines to craft whatever it is you would like to make. Not to mention once survival mode unlocks the game gets increasingly harder the further you progress into the modpack. This all may sound horrible however, the further you progress the more and more advanced stuff you can do such as go to space, setup an ME-network, build a nuclear reactor, make a portal gun, create a fully automated infinite resource plant, or even make your own personalized dimension. Like my previous modpack, your ultimate goal is to gain access to creative mode without doing /Gamemode which will take a very long time.

[Note: This modpack uses game stages to enforce progression meaning that most items are locked until you completed the correct quests or found and "read" the correct skill book. (Obtainable from dungeon chests and tumbleweed.)]

[Note: I noticed that some of the quests seem impossible at first. This is usually because one hasn't crafted all the required items for completing the quest. (Such as tools that aren't listed in the quest itself.)]

[Note: I also tested each quest to make sure they can be completed without cheating. If you need help with quests feel free to ask me.]

[Note: This mod pack dose not support removing mods! If your having lag issues try installing optifine version 1.12.2 HD U E3 (I tested this version of optifine with a low amount of ram allocated.)]

===========================================================

Some of the this modpack’s notable features:

===========================================================

1: An advanced progression system utilizing the Game Stages API and Adventure mode.

2: A customized world generator that accurately resembles that of a post-apocalyptic world.

3: Temperature, Thirst, Diseases and injuries for added realism and difficulty.

4: Realistic weather and seasons.

5: Literally all crafting table recipes have been changed or moved to a different machine/table.

6: Dimensions below bedrock and bedrock breaker for those who love mining.

7: Space Exploration and lots of tech mods for advanced progression and automation!

8: Custom generated structures to go with the custom world generator.

9: A questing system that rewards the player with in-game currency for completing quests. This currency can be spent at an in-game shop.

10: Tons of hidden features for you to discover on your own.

===========================================================

The main goals for this Modpack:

===========================================================

1: To create a more interesting and realistic post-apocalyptic experience than other post-apocalyptic themed modpacks.

2: To provide players with a unique, well thought out progression system based on reality.

3: To make expert modded Minecraft players feel like noobs again.

4: To become the hardest modpack of all times while remaining fun and fully playable.

[Yes, I know this was one of the goals of my previous modpack, but I stopped development on that one because I finished it.]

===========================================================

This mod pack requires 8GB ram allocated to run. For the best experience allocate 10GB and install optifine.
