Weapons & Artifacts

MC Dungeons Weapons + Enchantments brings in nearly every weapon from the original game, along with the full enchantment system.

Visuals

Fresh player and mob animations give everything a next-gen Minecraft feel, paired with texture updates that stay true to vanilla while feeling brand new. A curated selection of shaders covers most players' needs — from the classic Dungeons look to more vanilla-friendly options — all tunable for quality and performance. On top of that, upgraded explosions and subtle particle effects add immersion for anyone who appreciates the details, and an enhanced UI delivers quality-of-life improvements without clutter.

The World

The overworld is built on some of the best biome mods around — Terralith, Oh The Biomes You'll Go, Unnamed Desert, Unnamed Sea, and more — for exploration that never gets old.

Villages and pillager outposts are overhauled to feel like Dungeons levels, and mods like Town and Towers add sprawling, high-quality settlements themed to their biomes — some of them long lost to time.

The Nether and End get the same treatment with BetterEnd and BetterNether, bringing new structures, biomes, and countless smaller touches — including seamless terrain slabs that make the whole world feel more natural.

Combat

Better Combat and the RPG mod series open up endless build possibilities, whether you want to play a brute-force knight, a team healer, or anything in between. The Dungeons enchanting system introduces new enchantments like Poison Cloud and Sparks, and with Fresh Animations Player Extension, combat looks and feels incredibly smooth — quick rolling included.

Mobs

New creatures roam the world, some hostile, some helpful — including the Soul Mage and a certain someone named Cornelius. Recruit an army of jumping spiders to fight at your side, or face off against a completely overhauled Wither and Ender Dragon, now with real boss phases and new attacks (yes, there's a baby Ender Dragon too).

The It Takes a Pillage mod adds massive pillager camps and castles to raid, if you've got the strength and wits to crack them. The Golem Overhaul mod rounds things out with new golems that can assist you in a variety of ways.

Camera

The Dungeons Perspective mod lets you toggle a faithful recreation of the Minecraft Dungeons camera with F4, and it fits the pack perfectly. It's still fairly new, so expect the occasional bug — just hit F4 again to switch back anytime.

Shoulder Surfing Reloaded adds a fourth camera mode that feels great to play with — honestly, it might be my preferred way to experience the pack. (One of these two modes is recommended for the best immersion.)

Standoff

Fishing

Tide 2 and a handful of other mods overhaul fishing into an actual minigame worth your time, complete with a journal to track your catches. Can you catch them all?

Sounds

A full sound overhaul — including Ambient Sounds, Sound Physics Remastered, and Maestro — makes the world feel alive, with cued sounds and dynamic music tracks throughout.

Performance

A carefully chosen combination of performance mods keeps the game running smoothly — no more vanilla frame-rate struggles.

Quests

Bounty boards in villages hand out quests ranging from easy errands to perilous journeys into the unknown. The advancements system has also been revamped to look better and integrate seamlessly with the rest of the pack. Full questlines tied to game progression are planned for the future.

Multiplayer

Thanks to E4MC, LAN servers are accessible from anywhere over public ports. Just open your world to LAN, grab the server address from chat, and send it to your friends — they can add it to their server list and join right in.

Highly recommended to play with a group or with friends!
