Description

🧩 What is Orbital's Animated Survival?

Mojang is a busy company and is asked for more features to be added to Minecraft daily. Because of this, their updates are almost always fully feature-oriented. They aim to keep the game fresh and new, and because of this, they often fail to fix small issues, bugs, lag, and the overall lack of good-looking features in Minecraft. This pack aims to fix these issues by providing better performance than the base game, a multitude of "quality of life" features, bug fixes, and a more visually appealing experience. All of this is achieved through strictly client-side mods to keep the vanilla feel fresh and ensure you don't miss out on any vanilla multiplayer experiences.

Main Features

🎥 Animations

There is a high focus on adding more animations to Minecraft in this pack. Mojang's base game animations work, but they don't fully immerse the player. In this pack, almost all animations have been updated to make the world around you feel more lively. There are smoother animations for most 3rd and 1st person actions. Some examples include

  • Swinging a sword
  • Holding torches and lanterns
  • 3rd person Mob and Player animations
  • Optional eye movement

🔊 Sounds

The sounds of Minecraft are fully updated to make you feel more immersed in the 3D space. There are new sounds for falling rain and when it hits specific blocks. New environmental sounds include birds chirping in forests, waves crashing near rivers, and new sounds for walking on and breaking blocks. There are also new inventory sounds for holding and using specific items.

💨 Particles & More

There are many new particle effects to enhance the small actions you perform in the game, along with enhancements to existing particles. Now, you emit water particles after getting out of a water source, there are dust particles behind you when running, new splashing particles, and much more. Along with this, there are side features including the addition of more realistic rain, dust storms in deserts, an overlay when underwater, and more.

⚙️ Extra Features

🚀 Performance & Bug Fixes

This pack improves performance through mods like Sodium, C2ME, Bad Packets, Bad Optimizations, Clumps, and more, and patches bugs through mods like Chat Patches, Lithium, and Debuggify.

🧰 Quality of Life

This pack brings multiple quality-of-life features to the game to make tasks less tedious and reduce the need for third-party applications. Some include:

  • The Essential Mod for better online play with friends
  • The Client Sort Mod to sort your inventory and chests
  • Durability Tooltip to show item durability in multiple places
  • A built-in auto clicker
  • Faster block placement
  • Bedrock bridging capability
  • And loads more...

⚠️ Warning

This ModPack is still in early development, and this release is intended more for playtesting than a full release. Due to this, you may experience lag, crashes, and mod-related issues when using the pack.
