Description

THIS MODPACK IS IN BETA.

"Minecraft: 90's Edition... An old PC game made in the 90's. But wait, wasn't Minecraft made in 2009? Weird. No one knew about this? Was Mojang really hinting this ancient game with Minecraft 3D? Well, at least I found it.

By the way, unless you can make it somehow work, don't use the Aether or the Essential mod. I don't know why they do this, but they bug out the menu. Please tell me in the comments if you can find an answer. :)

This modpack brings back some old things:

  • Flat items (Billboarding Items, Items 2D)
  • Sword blocking (Classic Sword Blocking)
  • No Hunger Bar (Hunger Remover)
  • Old walking animation (Old Walking Animation)
  • Old world generation as extra world type (Modern Beta)
  • Classic tweaks (Nostalgic Tweaks, Classic Mechanics)
  • Double axe heads (Double Axe Heads)
  • Old textures (Golden Days, Programmer Art/Fix)
  • Old sounds (Old Sounds & Music)
  • Craftable Enchanted Golden Apple
  • Old Smithing Table system (Legacy Smithing Table)
  • Old feature where TNT explodes in a Furnace (Smetlable TNT)
  • THE FARLANDS (Farlands Reborn)
  • Pre-Alpha features! (Legacy Revived, compatibility by Kilt)

As well as adding new things to make the game feel really old:

  • Flat mobs (Flatter Entities)
  • Limited menu and more (FancyMenu, Drippy Loading Screen)
  • Pixel shader (MCSX PSX Custom Shader)
  • Steve skin (Become Steve)
  • MIDI versions of some songs (Reactive Music)
  • A brand new HUD inspired by Notch's cancelled game RubyDung (SpiffyHUD)
  • 4:3 aspect ratio
  • Weapon and mob progression (Lukas' Weapon Leveling, RPG Mob Leveling System)

But also adding in some new fresh things you should find out for yourself...
