About

Description

This modpack is something I put together mainly for myself and a few friends to enjoy during our multiplayer sessions. It’s based on the Cobbleverse modpack, but I didn’t just use it as-is—I went through and tweaked it to better fit how we like to play. The goal wasn’t to completely overhaul the experience, but rather to refine it and make it feel smoother, more convenient, and a bit more engaging overall.

Most of the changes come in the form of quality-of-life improvements. For example, I added mods like Nature’s Compass, which makes exploring a lot less frustrating when you’re trying to locate specific biomes. Instead of wandering aimlessly for hours, you can actually focus on progressing and building. I also included Lootr, which helps make multiplayer looting feel fairer and more rewarding, since everyone gets their own loot instead of competing over the same chests. Small changes like that go a long way when you’re playing in a group.

Beyond that, I tried to keep the balance between exploration, progression, and performance. I didn’t want to overload the pack with unnecessary features or make it feel cluttered. The idea is that it should still feel like Cobbleverse at its core, just a bit more polished and tailored to our preferences. Stability was also important, so I avoided adding anything too experimental or likely to cause issues during longer play sessions.

Another thing I focused on was making sure new players could jump in without feeling overwhelmed. Some modpacks can be a bit intimidating if you’re not already familiar with everything in them, so I tried to keep things intuitive. The added mods are meant to support the experience rather than complicate it.

Overall, this is more of a personal project than anything else. It’s not meant to be some perfectly curated or widely distributed pack, but rather something that fits our group specifically. That said, it turned out pretty solid, and it’s been fun seeing how a few thoughtful additions can make a familiar modpack feel fresh again.

I’ll probably keep adjusting things over time as we play, adding or removing mods depending on what works and what doesn’t. It’s kind of an ongoing project, and that’s part of the fun—figuring out what makes the experience better for everyone involved.
