(HORROR) Pants = Shidded
No reviews yet
(Work in progress) A horror modpack designed to actually scare the player instead of killing them over and over again. The buildup takes some time, but the payout is good and will definitely scare you.
Designed to be spooky or terrifying, often including dark environments, scary monsters, and survival horror mechanics.
Forge is a popular mod loader for versions 1.1+ of Minecraft.

About
Description
The main focus of this modpack is for the player to actually experience the horror instead of frustratingly dying to it repeatedly. You might not notice things immediately, however once nightfall comes you had better be prepared for the worst.
A few tips for surviving in this modpack:
1. Light sources are your best friend (NEVER LEAVE BASE WITHOUT PLENTY OF TORCHES).
2. You are ALWAYS being watched.
3. Caves harbor treasures and travesties alike.
4. THEY WILL FIND YOU EVENTUALLY.
5. Enter the doors at your own risk (you never know where they will take you).
So far there are 94 mods in this modpack ranging from utility and performance, to quality of life and ambience. Not to mention the horror mods too.
The main horror mods I added are The Anomaly, The Root of Fear, and From the Fog. There are a few others but I won't spoil them here. I also added quite a few ambient/environmental mods to tie the whole horror aspect together. On top of that I added a few new dimensions such as The Aether, Dimensional Doors, Twilight Forest, and Ad Astra just for giggles. There is also quite a few more added structures you can find while exploring the world.
I added support for shaders but if you want any you have to add them yourself (They aren't really compatible with True Darkness).
I also added quite a few more ores and gems (The Age of Ores mod) to help you get better gear to aid in your survival and in fighting off the horrors.
All in all this modpack has ruined a few pairs of my pants and I am quite happy with it so far. Also, I was going to add quests but that turned out to be quite daunting so there are none as of right now (might add them later on).
As this is my very first legitimate modpack, any and all feedback is welcome and appreciated. If you feel something should be added or if you come across something that doesn't work/fit in this modpack I implore you to comment and make your thoughts heard. I will do what I can.
