Description

What is this ModPack?

The whole theme of this modpack is to give a vanilla plus experience to players. I tried to make it as light as possible (keeping in mind that "Light" doesn't necessariliy mean less mods) so that everyone can play it. As the name might suggest, it comes from another modpack of mine called Parradoxal, but this one is a bit different: it doesn't want to have lots of things for all players, but to be a friendly update to vanilla minecraft.

Of course, I added some mods to spice up the gameplay and make it fun and likable.

Future Plans!

I just wanted to write a few words about this project: Parradoxal is something I made for fun, to have my own modpack to play. I wasn't expecting enough intrest to reach even 20 downloads. Although 230 downloads aren't much these days, I'm so happy knowing people might have had fun playing my pack.

Now, I'm busy studying for my exams, so it's hard to find time to dedicate to other things, but hey, here I am xD.

First of all, I wanted to make a "Parradoxal 1.20" but I decided to skip this version for a simple reason: Forge. Now, I don't want to explain my position here, but let's just say that Forge has been the leader in modloader for a long time. If you have followed the (quite) recent events of NeoForge, you should know where this is going. Minecraft 1.20 version will probably be the last version with Forge as the main loader, as many modders are moving to the more modern and performing NeoForge. Making a pack for this version means that you have to sacrifice more than a few mods, as not all of them are compatible (and might never be). You know, to be frank, I don't want that! NeoForge seems to be the future of Minecraft Modding community, so I will stick to that. In conclusion, I'm going to wait to make a new pack until all the main mods I want are available for the same version (hopefully, 1.21.X might be the version that we are waiting for).

We just need to give the modmakers time to do their awesome job of giving us something to have fun with!

I don't even know if anyone will even read this but, so be it. I just wanted to clarify a few things even I'm not professional or famous in any way. If you're reading this: hello there (-Obi Wan). Thanks for having read this.

Thanks again to play my pack, I'll wait you in 1.21 (hopefully)

See ya, Crafters!

About the 3.0 Update:

After hearing some thought from my friends, I realized that as some of them liked tech, most of them wanted a more magical experience, and I think it's logically correct: If I added the Create and Tom's Storage mod, which are tech based mod, why can't I add just two mods based on magic so that many other people would like playing my pack? I think that Roots and Iron's Spells are the most "Vanilla" style, as they do add some new spells, but still keep the vanilla feel, without adding HUGE DEATH RAYS or MEGA RUNIC EVOCATION and such. Hope you will like it :D.

This update is also a celebration for the 100 downloads mark, I have never thought this pack would be so appreceated. If you have any suggestions or complaints, please write them down in the comment section, I'll try to solve your problems as best as I can.

WARNING: From Version 3.0 the WORLDGEN mod will BE CHANGED from Terralith to Regions Unexplored. I'm still going to upload the terralith version named as Parradoxal Light 3.0 - T-Lith. This will happen for all future versions.

The Pack includes:

- New biomes and structures with Regions Unexplored and Towns and Towers

- Upgraded dimension with Incendium and End Panthasm

- New Vanilla weapons like Alex Armoury, Divine Weaponry, Upgraded Netherite and Immersive Armours

- New food with Sushi Go Crafting, Pizzacraft and Farmer's Delight

- New decorations and furniture like Paladin's Furniture, Handcrafted and Candelight

- New mobs and bosses with Alex Mobs, Aquamirae and L_Ender's Cataclysm

- Lots of useful Vanilla Plus tweaks and upgrades like Quark and the [Let's Do] serie

- Just two tech mods: Create with some addons and Tom's Simple Storage

- Just two magic mods: Iron's Spells 'n Spellbook and Roots Classic

- New drinks with Alcolcraft+ and Vinery

Tons of new dungeons with most of the YUNG's mods

As you can see I kept it as vanilla as possible. As for the tech mods: with Tom's storage - which is just a handy thing to have without breaking the vanilla vibe - and Create - which will be apriciated by more tecnical players - you can do awesome things without breaking the main theme, meanwhile Roots and Iron's Spells will give this pack the pinch of magic it deserves.

Update 4.1:

Will probably be the last of minecraft 1.19.2, when I'll have time I'll make a new one for the latest minecraft version. Let me know if there are any errors or crashes.

See yah in the new minecraft version, Crafters!

Thanks for playing my pack :)
