Description
Hello! I have been developing this pack for a while now to help introduce my friends to modded Minecraft. This is my first attempt at creating a pack so it will probably still need some work but hopefully, I can update it when I get time.
Overview
Pathworkers is a mod pack based around the idea of progression. Players will start out with very limited knowledge of the world but can craft special books to expand their knowledge. Eventually, you can branch out and specialize in learning more about technology, magic, or farming. If are really up to it, you can learn everything. The kitchen element of this pack comes from the fact that there is no end goal, just have fun and explore what you enjoy. The world now also features two special types of dungeons, explore them to find unique baubles and loot that can only be acquired from these dungeons. The pack aims to be difficult in the early game but it shouldn't be 'too brutal for players new to modded Minecraft. I hope you enjoy the pack!
Features
- Progression using game stages
- Hidden ores that reveal themselves as you progress
- Two unique dungeon types with loot that can not be obtained anywhere else
- Character leveling, gain more hearts and spend experience on skills
- Multiple new survival elements, temperature, thirst, and nutrition.
- Customized bounties that now appear on bounty boards in villages
- Multiple unique dimensions to explore
Tips
- At the start of the game, the Pyrotech book will guide you through the early stages of the game.
- Using JEI you can type @gamestage to see the books you can craft to progress.
- Find a village! They have warp points you can use as well as a bounty board that can offer rewards.
- Explore dungeons once you feel ready, they have unique loot that you can't obtain anywhere else.
- You can drink water/rain by shift right-clicking. Eventually, you can make other liquids to stay hydrated.
- You can make armor underwear to warm you up or cool you down.
- Take your time and just have fun! This mod pack isn't about reaching an end goal.
Future Changes Planned
- Balance the power generation
- Add a couple more mods for immersion
- Work on optimizing the pack
