Description

⛏ Pickaxe Warning is a lightweight Minecraft Forge mod that alerts you before your pickaxe breaks — so you never lose a good tool mid-mine again.

Features:

  • 🔔 Chat warning message when your pickaxe durability runs low
  • 🖥️ Pulsing HUD overlay that flashes on screen for 4 seconds
  • 🔊 Bell sound plays with every warning
  • 🔁 Repeating reminders every 3 seconds while durability stays low
  • 🤚 Checks both main hand and offhand pickaxes
  • ✅ Works with all pickaxe types — wood, stone, iron, gold, diamond, netherite, and modded pickaxes

How it works: When your pickaxe falls below 10% durability, a red ⚠ warning appears in chat showing the item name and exact durability remaining, alongside a glowing on-screen overlay so you never miss it.

Configuration: All settings are adjustable in .minecraft/config/pickaxewarner-client.toml:

  • Warning threshold % (default: 10%)
  • Warning repeat interval (default: every 3 seconds)
  • Toggle sound on/off
  • Toggle offhand checking on/off
  • Toggle durability numbers in messages on/off

  • Forge 47.1.0+
