Pioneers of The Realms

This is a modpack created for my server Pioneers of The Realms, or simply Pioneers SMP. The modpack changes with each season of the server, where each season is a new world with a new theme. These worlds are collectively known as The Realms and we, the Pioneers, have the pleasure of exploring them!

Previous modpacks will still be available to download, except season 1 which was never uploaded to Modrinth.

Season 2

This season we have a lightweight RPG modpack.

The main content consists of the RPG Series, which adds a number of RPG classes, such as Wizards, Archers and Rogues, Create (with various addons) which provides elaborate but vanilla-friendly technology, and a collection of world gen mods, such as Regions Unexplored, YUNG's Mods and Dungeons and Taverns, which add plenty of places to explore and challenges to face.

Other notable mods include Illager Invasion to expand on pillagers/illagers and make them more interesting to fight, Sophisticated Backpacks and Storage for quality of life, and Moving Elevators to enhance your base.

Key optimisation mods, such as Sodium and Lithium, are included in every season to provide the best performance for all players.

Pioneers Additions

The pack also includes Pioneers Additions which was created to add various custom features to Pioneers SMP.

Currently this just includes a lives system inspired by The Life Series on YouTube.

Players are given a limited number of lives and are divided into four coloured groups Green, Yellow, Red and Gray, otherwise known as The Fallen. Your colour is based on how many lives you have remaining.

Certain colours can gain lives back through killing players of a higher colour! The less lives you have, the more you are incentivised to be hostile, which creates an exciting dynamic between players.

Other features include, giving lives to other players and crafting Life Tokens which are expensive items that allow you to replenish 1 life.
