Pixel Simple is a streamlined modpack focused on providing a polished Pixelmon experience without unnecessary bloat. The goal of this pack is to maintain high performance while integrating essential quality-of-life features and modern visuals.

Core Features

• Performance: Built with Rubidium and Oculus to ensure high framerates and stable shader support on the 1.16.5 engine.

• Multiplayer: Includes the Essential Mod, allowing players to host and join worlds with friends directly without the need for a dedicated server.

• Navigation: Features Xaero’s Minimap and World Map, pre-configured with the Pixelmon Support pack to display Pokémon icons on the radar.

• Utility: Standard quality-of-life mods are included, such as JEI for recipe lookups, Mouse Tweaks for inventory management, and AppleSkin for HUD transparency.

Visual Enhancements

The pack comes bundled with Complementary Shaders - Unbound and the Complex Pixelmon Textures resource pack. These have been selected to modernize the game's aesthetic while maintaining the classic Pixelmon feel.

Technical Setup

• Allocated RAM: 4GB is recommended for standard play; 6GB is recommended if using the included shaders.

• Shaders: To enable the visual effects, navigate to Video Settings > Shader Packs and select Complementary Shaders.

• Resource Packs: Ensure Xaero's Minimap - Pixelmon Support is at the top of your Resource Packs list to enable entity tracking on the map.
