This is a modpack that evolved from several versions that friends and I boiled down into one lump of tasty goodness.
Themed around space exploration, including traveling to other planets, building spaceships, and surviving in outer space environments.
Themed around heavy machinery, factories, and automation reminiscent of the Industrial Revolution.
Focuses on contemporary settings, including cities, urban infrastructure, and modern lifestyle.
Focuses on automation and resource processing through scientific and mechanical means, utilizing systems like electricity (RF/FE/etc), air pressure, or rotation.
Includes a little of everything without sticking to any one particular type of gameplay or style.
Features complex tech, often requiring intricate setups and resources.
Features machines that process raw materials or automation processes.
Heavily focused around the Create mod, known for its unique mechanical systems and contraptions.
Includes gameplay revolving around space travel and planets.
Includes creation and management of cities and towns.
Forge is a popular mod loader for versions 1.1+ of Minecraft.

Description
Planes Trains and Automobiles is a modern modpack with all the tech, transportation, and world building you could want. From wherever you plan to build your base, to deep underground or into the far reaches of space this modpack.
➦MrCrayfish's Vehicle Mod allows players to build anything from smart cars to boats and planes. Players learn how to build Gas pumps filled with Fuelium and garages with the tools necessary to create any vehicle listed.
➦Road stuff by Mapper allows players to create custom roads with traffic cones, guard rails, and gradual inclines and declines in the asphalt.
➦Create by Simibubi allows players to build trains that can pick up and drop off any sort of supplies and players to and from your base. As well as build almost any contraption they can think of.
➦Minecolonies by H3lay allows players to create their own sprawling metropolis filled to the brim with beautiful buildings filled with colonists that actually build the building themselves. (With the right supplies of course)
➦There are also a large number of tech based mods that allow the player to gather resources and make their world feel modern and functional.
➦Lets not forget Beyond Earth by Cominixo, travel to the moon and beyond in your own rocket. Build bases on distant planets and meet aliens.
