Description
Planetary Terraforming
Crash-land on a dead world, survive its hostile environment, build a colony, automate its resources, and terraform an entire planet back to life.
Planetary Terraforming: The Modpack is a progression-focused survival and automation pack built around the Planetary Terraforming mod.
You begin on a barren, lifeless planet with limited supplies and temporary environmental protection. There are no forests waiting nearby, no easy farms, and no normal survival start. Oxygen, pressure, temperature, food, water, and power all become problems that must be solved as you establish your first foothold.
Your long-term objective is much larger than simply surviving:
Restore the planet itself.
Build habitats, develop life-support systems, process scarce resources, breed specialized plants, construct automated factories, explore other dimensions, and eventually power the Terraformer through multiple restoration stages until the dead world becomes habitable again.
Progression
The pack is designed around a clear early → mid → late game progression.
Early game focuses on survival and resource scarcity. You will rely on primitive processing, Ex Deorum mechanics, limited food sources, temporary life support, and your crashed ship while building the infrastructure needed to survive permanently.
Midgame shifts toward colony building and industrialization. Habitats, oxygen generation, environmental control, material processing, Create automation, logistics, and plant breeding begin replacing the slow manual systems you started with.
Late game expands into advanced automation, planetary-scale infrastructure, Nether and End progression, increasingly demanding Terraformer stages, and finally the restoration of a functioning biosphere.

Your Goal
At first, every resource matters.
Eventually, your machines will run automatically, your habitat will support life, your farms will produce specialized resources, and your infrastructure will stretch far beyond the wreck where you started.
But the real victory is when the equipment that once kept you alive is no longer necessary—because the world itself can support life again.
The planet is dead. Bring it back.
Currently in Beta: Progression, balance, quests, and mechanics may continue to change as the pack develops.
